Our Founder
Darrellynn Swanson (aka Lynn Swanson) is the founder of The GODLY Connection, a ministry to help single parents. As a single parent, Lynn was blessed to have one child, a daughter named Aja Chelynn Swanson. Throughout their life, she focused on providing a livelihood for her family.
By choosing to take early retirement from a career with the U.S. Postal Service, Lynn returned to college to continue pursuing higher education. Through perseverance, she received her Bachelors’ Degree, her Minister’s Degree, and her Masters’ Degree. With a love for teaching, she became an Educator as well as a leader of several ministries at her church.
While attending ministry school, God revealed to Lynn the purpose for her life with a few directions. At that time, The GODLY Connection was conceived. For many years, Lynn was consumed with dreams of starting a ministry to help single parents. Now, with a total restructure of her life, The GODLY Connection is no longer a dream but a reality. In this next Chapter of Lynn’s life, she is now a Philanthropist with an ultimate goal in mind of making God proud.
